A new roof & new siding!

6 months ago we had a hail storm come through Monticello. Our roof was damaged a lot & our siding on the front was pretty dinged up. The insurance couldn't match our siding so we got all new! We chose Lighthouse red, it looks much more red in the pictures than in person. But it looks nice, we like it. We really stick out though every other house within 3-4 blocks of us is white, yellow, taupe or gray!

Peyton's party

So we had Peyton's party, it was small but fun. He had an Elmo cake which he gobbled up in seconds & had a huge sugar rush for about an hour afterwards!
We went & saw his pediatrician yesterday for his 1 year check up. He weighed 23 lbs. & was 30 inches, he is almost exactly the same size Hannah was at her 1 year checkup. Peyton was not happy about his 3 shots & having his finger poked!

Happy Birthday Peyton!

Today is Peyton's 1st Birthday! It is crazy how a year flies by! Peyton was born at 11:11a.m. & weighed 7 lbs. 7 oz. Tomorrow he has his 1 year check up with his Ped. & I will post his new weight & stuff then.
Peyton is starting to walk all over & everyday gets a little braver & walks a little farther without getting down to crawl. He loves his sister & brother & thinks that they are the funniest people in the whole world. His fav. food is Turkey & mac & cheese.
Tonight my grandma is actually coming down & we are having a small b-day party for him with her & our next door neighbors. I will post those pics. tomorrow.

Trick or treating!

Halloween is so much fun in our neighborhood! All the kids & parents get together & go from house to house collecting candy and within an hour you have WAY more than enough! Our kids also love to hand out candy, maybe even more than they like trick or treating! We weren't home most of the time but I bet if we were home to hand out candy we would have had more than 200 kids!
This year Hannah wanted to be the little mermaid, Brandon wanted to be a dragon, even though he was one last year, there was no talking him out of it, and Peyton was a skunk. I must say he was so darn cute! I also went to Hannah's class & helped carve pumpkins on Friday, it was messy, but fun!
